The visual artist Houda Bakkali has presented her artwork in the Italian city of Sanremo at an official event at the Town Hall, Palazzo Bellevue, of this emblematic city on the riviera.
Houda Bakkali has been received by the local authorities, the mayor Alberto Biancheri and the president of the Consiglio Comunale Alessandro Il Grande in a ceremony at the Sanremo Town Hall. In this official presentation, the artist has offered an artwork to the city, “The flowers of happiness”, a work that represents the rebirth of a new reality full of color, enthusiasm and energy, a new reality starring the same beauty as the city of Sanremo, city of flowers, in which the artist finds inspiration and happiness.
During this event, the artist expressed her enthusiasm for presenting her work in Italy: “Thank you very much for your welcome, I am very much looking forward to presenting my work for the first time in Italy. San Remo is the perfect city for this act since it is the city of flowers, the main element of all my work. Sanremo is a city of culture, art, inspiration and happiness. that is why I dedicate this unique work to him: “The flowers of happiness”
This event is the first public and official presentation of Houda Bakkali’s artwork in Italy, a country where she plans to hold upcoming events and exhibitions.
The painting “The flowers of happiness” will be exhibited at the Museo del Fiore.
The councilor for culture of Sanremo, Silvana Ormea, who accompanied the artist to the Palazzina Winter – Museo del Fiori explains: “We thought that the right location for this work that pays homage to our city with flowers and colors was precisely the Museo del Fiore, a place full of charm that can welcome this work. We thank the artist Houda Bakkali once again for giving us “The Flowers of Happiness”.
Houda Bakkali is an international visual artist and art director based in Barcelona, Spain. Her colourful artwork has been exhibited worldwide and her techniques and creative process have been recognized by different institutions and international magazines. Her first artwork dates back to 2008.
