Made in NY 2017: Envisioning the Future

Made in NY is an annual exhibit at the Schweinfurth Art Center located in Auburn, New York that features work by New York artists. The exhibit is an opportunity for artists residing in New York State to showcase their work in a competitive, juried exhibition.

Jurors Yvonne Buchanan and Nancy Green viewed 309 artworks based on the theme Envisioning the Future for this year’s Made in New York exhibition. They selected 63 artworks of a variety of media such as photography, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber, glass, and installation.

The Schweinfurth Art Center is a non-profit gallery and multi-arts facility located in Auburn, New York, situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The Art Center offers five exhibitions each year featuring regional, national and international artists. Well known annual exhibits include Quilts=Art=Quilts, Made in New York and Both Ends of the Rainbow.
