‘Ø’ is a vowel and a letter used in the Danish, Norwegian, Faroese and Southern Sami languages. In Danish, ø is also a word, meaning “island”; and this is the context by which Hans & Fritz Contemporary presents their next exhibition.

A silent and deserted island where children play the fragile structures of gender without knowing they are playing and where human passions feed on society´s unthinkable promises. The shipwrecked ethereal moments observed through the solitary eyes of the artist.
