On 17th March 2017 National Art Museum of China officially collected two artworks of Chinese contemporary artist Fu Wenjun. A collection ceremony was held at Hall No.3 on the first floor of the Museum, with the presence of the Museum Director Wu Weishan, the Museum Deputy Director An Yuanyuan, the curator and professor of Peking University School of Arts Peng Feng. Director Wu Weishan personally conferred the Collection Certificates to artist Fu Wenjun.

National Art Museum of China presented Fu Wenjun’s solo exhibition: Harmony in Diversity: Fu Wenjun’s Digital Painting Photography Exhibition from 3rd – 19th March 2017. The two artworks of digital painting photography collected by the National Art Museum of China, Nepotism and Thought Reading No.5, were among the exhibited works.

Until now, Fu Wenjun’s works are collected by National Art Museum of China, Today Art Museum, the Old Summer Palace Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Kennedy Family, World Council of Peoples for the United Nations, Dazu Grotto Museum, Chongqing Art Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art, Société Nationale des Beaux Arts of France, Egypt Ahmed Shawki Museum and other significant organizations and collectors.


Fu Wenjun, Chinese contemporary artist, was graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. He creates principally through the art media of photography, installation, sculpture and oil painting, and has put forward the concept of “digital painting abstract photography”.
